What is Dry Ice Blasting and Cleaning?
Dry Ice Blasting is an advanced cleaning technology, similar to sand blasting, wherein compressed air is used to accelerate frozen carbon dioxide (CO2) pellets at supersonic speeds, creating mini-explosions on the surface to be cleaned. These pellets are made from food grade carbon dioxide that has been specifically approved by the FDA, EPA and the USDA as a non-poisonous, liquefied gas, which can be utilized at work sites for the purpose of cleaning. The result is removal of undesirable items from the underlying substrate.
